Transom Communications is led by Mark Wilson, who has written and edited communications in the fields of energy, the environment, clean tech, and high tech for 20 years. During that time, he has had the good fortune to learn from and collaborate with insightful individuals in academia, industry, government, and nonprofit organizations.
Mark has authored and edited materials on a variety of subjects—renewable energy, energy-efficient building and lighting technologies, the Smart Grid, air and water quality, international efficiency standards, and climate change, to name a few. His work has supported technical solutions from early funding and research, through development and demonstration, to successful deployment in the marketplace.
Past and present clients include AREVA Solar, BrightSource Energy, the California Energy Commission, California Institute for Energy and Environment, EPRI, Pacific Gas and Electric, the James Irvine Foundation, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and the University of California.
